After 7:30 a.m. lab work blood draws for this, that, and the other thing including an 8 a.m. cortisol test. I know from experience that I have been running on cortisol and adrenaline from imbalanced hormones, lack of sleep that would kill most humans, while trying to get this website live plus all the other moving parts of building a new life in a new land

March 9, 2026 a few hours before checking in to the hospital here in France, THE DAY BEFORE my second hip surgery. They had me stay for four nights and in my own en suite. The French don’t mess around with your health. A brief little video as I sat in the warm sunshine of my garden filled with hope. Just stunningly filled with hope.

March 11, 2026 the day after my second hip surgery in France. For both full hip replacements, I stayed in my own own en suite for 4 nights in the hospital, including the night beforehand. This was no drive-by. In the video I thought just 3 nights but nope, just like the first surgery, they keep you under full care.
